Forget 135, i doubt pac can still go down to lightweight. Only those 2 present a challenge but one is on vacaton and the other is a middleweight.

Yes I agree,135 or 154/160 might be pushing it but it would be a nice scalp if he pulls it off.
The real problem is Floyd i guess coz he is currently in lurker mode

there are plenty of challenges....but at this stage of his career does he really want to take them.

Because you think he is so good doesnt mean so and so isn't a challenge you don't know till they get in the ring.......so i'd say he has plenty of challenges...but does he really want them....it doesnt look like it.

He's taken on the best in his division. The boys @ 140 could give him a good fight but i doubt any of them can beat him. Martinez is really the only challenge left aside from the permanent vacationer:lol:

Jmm will be his toughest fight aside from floyd and Martinez. I would love to see Pac-Martinez, I predict that fight, with the right promotion to break 2mil. Pac's stock is high, if he was to challenge the MW champ of the world, competitive and daring, with great promotion behind it you just know it will capture the publics imagination.

Names matter but so does competitive matches, which is why dlh-pbf did 2.4mil. Pbf previous top sale was 350k n dlh just did 800k with mayorga. It was most popular vs the best, which would be Pac-Martinez.

I think pac-jmm will do 1.5mil. Good storyline, some thinks it's challenging and there's the Mexican fans.

this is the thing...i doubt Margo could beat Floyd..still is a challenge....i doubt Cotto could beat Floyd still is a challenge.....Floyd should have got in the ring to prove this...

same goes for Pac....yea sure he probaly will win doesnt mean it isnt a challenge....you have to get int he ring to see if its a challenge....Margo fight supposed to be a challenge..turned out it wasnt...Mosley supposed to be a challenge turned out it wasnt.....JMM was a challenge....im just saying we dont know unless he gets in the ring with them.

Wins over Mayweather and Martinez are the only wins that would surprise people. Wins over the likes of Bradley, Ortiz would be good wins (way way better wins than the Mosley win) but would still fall under the category of "expected" wins.

But still, this is boxing and anytime you face the top competition, anything is possible so even if Pac has no perceived challenges outside of Mayweather and Martinez, I still hope he goes after the top guys at 140/147.

    Personally I'd rearrange this to

    1. Martinez (160)
    2. Mayweather
    2. Marquez (135)
    3. Martinez (154)

A win over Martinez at 160 (which personally I think is way too much for Pac to accomplish) would be the best possible legacy win out of the options you presented, because

    1. Martinez is the lineal MW champ, beating him there would make Pac a 5-weight lineal champ
    2. If you count the BS of a jMW belt he got from Margo, that would make Pac a 9 weight champion

Initially I had Marintez (154) at 3rd but then I realized, a win over Marquez @ 135 would also be a win over the lineal champ. And that would also make Pac a 5 weight lineal champ.

Ah, did you arrange your list in the order that you wanted Pac to fight them? My bad, I thought you were ranking them in terms of importance to Pac's legacy
