I've noticed his past fight with Rios and with Bradley that he doesn't dive in to recklessly unlike before, he's too cautious and doesn't throw flurries like he used to. He's not as good fighter as before but he looks like he's a more intelligent fighter now. Maybe the KO he received from Marquez is one reason or it's more because of his athletic decline, he needs smarts to compensate for it.

That brutal ko by marquez, changed him subconciously but it does not make him a more cerebral boxer. He, will never beat floyd with that style at all, at any stage of his career!! Remenber, how many puches he missed against a stationary clottey?

He is Defo more catious and not willing to lunge in

But it's a number of factors from decline, the JMM KO, and loss of killer instinct

not more intelligent but more cautious which really hinders his natural style.
