    Marquez took the lead plenty in their most recent fight. He just also was careful enough in launching his attacks that Pacquiao couldn't land any of the counters he was transparently trying to set up whenever he went to the backfoot.

    Based on the trilogy, I'd say very little because of the results:

    1st fight: Draw

    2nd fight: Pac SD12 Jmm

    3rd fight: Pac MD12 Jmm

    A very slight improvement overall :smoke

    pac didnt improved at all, thats why the great pbf doesnt want to fight the over hyped midget...fight is too easy, not worth getting 50m....

    I believe Pacquiao has a better punch resistance by far-His punch resistance to the body has improved like no other and I'd say he is definitely "more durable."

    Pac's footwork has improved as well-its not on a crazy level, but it is fun to watch at times, I'll say.

    Better right hand but that improvement really happened post-Morales 1 not now so no he didn't improve since Marquez 2. Matchmaking did wonders for him but sad reality that he's not half as good as made out to be will happen if he faces Floyd or Martinez. That wild shyt won't work!
