Has Margarito EVER made serious attempts to call out guys at least CLOSE to his size?

He turned down a record payday to face Winky Wright!!! FACT!!! He turned down the Paul Williams rematch!! FACT!! He even turned down Floyd Mayweather to face Mauel Gomez!!! FACT!!!

 

He fought guys like Cintron, Williams, and Santos. These guys arent close to been small.

 

All this "he is to big for welter" is complete nonsense. By those standards, P.Williams shouldn't have been allowed to fight at welter, in fact, he should be competing against guys like Dawson and Tarver since they are about the same height.

How about Cabellero, 5'11" and fighting at bantamweight (122). There is too many to name.

Margarito never got his ass whipped by PW or Santos. The PW fight was close as hell and the Santos fight was a hometown decision and a dodgy stoppage when Margarito was coming on. Margo also called out both Floyd and Cotto when they were WW's and he was a WW, meaning they were in the same division.

Think its hilarious hes calling out Cotto for a rematch even though he "won" that fight convincingly, yet he lost to Mosley and wants no part of that again. Why do you want to fight the guy you beat again, and not the guy that beat you? Makes perfect sense to me, as that is something I would want to do to ensure victory, but in boxing its suppose to be the other way around.
