Has Marvin Hart's decision over Sandy Ferguson ever been proven bad?

No, I don't think so. I've only seen two distinct reports of the fight, one says Ferguson was robbed, the other said he was worth a draw. He dominated early, dropped Hart for a count of seven and made him look foolish at times. Hart was his part was the aggressor and came on strong down the stretch. Referee gave it to Hart for doing the forcing, sounds very much like the Hart-Johnson fight. All agree that the crowd in general thought Sandy hard done by.

I havent been able to get a definitve answer to this.
Graeme Kent in his book,"The Great White Hopes", describes Ferguson as a boozer who was often out of shape.
When trained he was capable of giving most contenders a tough night's work.
I hope your query elicits some confirmation either way.
