It has been tested. That shot Corely caught PBF with was sick the same guy who dropped Cotto and had him hurt badly on ***** street. I can also say it because PBF hasn't been really dropped or even really hurt badly in a fight while Cotto has been dropped numerous times and gets hurt in just about every fight. It's not rocket science.:-(

I've seen him stunned once by Corley and visibly effected by Judah, maybe stunned for a split second, but after over a decade, 40 fights, and 5 weight classes, it's clear he can take a very good punch. DLH never stunned/hurt him.

Im not a huge cotto fan but how can you question the guys chin!?
Maybe at 140 were he was weight drained but at 147 the guy took bombs from margarito all night! Yes he was stopped but not due to his chin!

'seriously' hurt means on the verge of getting KTFO. floyd still had his legs and didnt show any signs of not being able to continue even after those barrage of punches. ****, he didnt even hit the canvas..

Nah, Floyd always finds a way to stay out of trouble. Even the few times he's been rocked he never appeared hurt. Right now you have to say he's got a top notch chin.

most of the times Cotto was hurt was at 140 where he was weight drained since he moved up to welter his chin has been very good and has been tested against guys like Mosley and Margo.

while frauds chin remains to be tested cause of his defense if he fights a guy with real ko power and gets caught like he did against Corley then we will see if he has a good chin or not.

as of now i wouldnt say its bad or good, for me is untested which isnt a bad thing.

So I guess Chico who hits P4P harder than anyone that Cotto fought wasn't a test right?:-( Oscar also can crack he hit PBF flush and he didn't get hurt. JLC did as well and he can punch. Zab had Cotto hurt far more than he did PBF. How about you just give PBF some credit for once in your life?:-( Once again you're on the losing side of an argument.

A couple of points I want to add to this discussion. First Mayweather is extremely hard to hit clean because of his defensive wizardry.

Second he was stunned in the Corley fight, but not bad enough to where he couldn't think and still protect himself.

As for the Judah fight, yes he did technically go down even thought he ref missed the call but
    1) It wouldn't have changed the outcome the fight since he won handily.

    2) The knockdown was a result of him being caught off balance. Im not trying to discredit it. A KD is a KD, but it had nothing to do with his chin.

Punches are powerful blows and if you get caught with your feet out of place, or you're off balance, you're gonna go down even if it didn't hurt you all.

I think his chin is probably even better now then it was against Corley. He's added more muscle to his frame since hw's moved up in weight and you can see his neck is thicker which helps you abosrb shots. He took a good hard right hand from Ocsar, in the 11tth round and it had no effect on him whatsoever.

Show me a clip where Corrales hit fraud with a clean punch?

Fraud is a safety first fighter he rarely gets hit cleanly unlike Coto who is an ofensive fighter with an average defense so of course hes going to get hurt.

I will say it again fraud's chin is untested just like RJ chin was.

Yeah he's a master boxer who rarely gets hit, but he has been hit before and when he did, his chin held up just fine. Most people who question his chin are just mad becasue he's so good and they want to see him get nailed, but he makes people look silly.

RJJ chin was affected by his going to HW and coming back down to LHW in a matter of weeks. PBF has been hit flush by big punchers and stood up without a problem. You have no reason to question his chin, you doing this only becasue you hate to give him credit for anything. In 40 fights he's only been hurt once and never knocked down. Cotto has been hurt and knocke down and stopped before. To say his chin is better than PBF's even with common opponents is crazy.
