He avoided manny in 2009? there is video of freddie roach himself saying THEY(pac's camp) was the reason the fight did not happen. They did not like the blood tests...why? because he was juicing.

SSM: Destroyed margarito. Then jumped into the ring after FMJ beat JMM basically taunting him into a fight. They get into the ring 8 months later and PBF proceeds to whoop SSM mosley's ass all over that ring. SSM had a great moment in the second round and then did absolutely nothing the rest of the night. SSM became past his prime overnight. its funny how ppl say these things AFTER floyd beats them. a washed up past their prime Lineal title holder.

I consider Diego Corrales an all-time great.

I think he'll be inducted into the Hall of Fame at some point. His wins over Acelino Freitas and Jose Luis Castillo were epic.

Actually, Mayweather-Corrales-Freitas-Casamayor were being hyped as the BIG FOUR of the 00s at that time. People tend to forget that now.

Mayweather was the WBC Super Featherweight champ. Corrales was the IBF champ. Freitas was the WBO champ (and a huge star in Brazil). Casamayor was the WBA champ.

When Mayweather and Corrales fought, both were young and undefeated champs and about to break out as major boxing stars. Floyd was the boxer, Corrales was the feared banger. Floyd wanted out of his HBO deal (which he called a "slave contract") and Corrales was having personal problems with his dad and wife.

One guy was going to break out, the other was going to fall back. A lot was on the line.

And Floyd dominated and humiliated him.

Mayweather became a huge star, and Corrales went to prison. It turned out to be literally be an all or nothing fight.

I still think that was Mayweather's greatest performance.

So I'd say Corrales for sure.
