I see plenty of threads on here saying thats the case but nothing on the internet with quotes from Mayweathers team saying no to it.

Has teh 14 days even been proposed to Mayweather yet??

I think there was a quote from a few days ago of him stating his stance hadn't changed (on testing all the way up until the fight).

I think when theres no news people make up news, like Haye supposedly fighting Audley or Chagaev.
Negotiations are starting in a few days time, then we will see what happens, anything said on here until then is probably a load of waffle.

No it's all speculation. Only recent thing came from crackhead Floyd Sr, who think pac has been on the a-side meff for so long that it will still have an effect even if he doesn't use it against Floyd.

His father already said his son won't ever fight Pac, who sounds very sure about it. Ellerbe, Floyd's manager already reacted to Pac's acceptance of 14-days for blood (+unlimited urine, +urine/blood after fight) saying - Floyd demands random no cutoff, so there's still no fight. Eventhough USADA already issued a statement that 18 days is enough for blood, but urine test will be random.

Also, recently Conte - the brains behind the idea to put "blood" in pro boxing. The man who debates against boxing commision's no blood in their tests, has just recently issued a statement that Pac's 14-day offer is "more" than enough.

14 day cut off for blood should be fine, as long as urine is kept random up untill the fight.

The only thing we know at the moment is that Mayweather (when the negotiations fell through last time) made it known that he will no longer be as flexible next time round. He will now reject cut off dates, instead resorting to complete random procedures that permits testing up until the very last minute.

But this statement was way before the Mosley fight, and of course before Pacquiao submitted to the 14 day proposal. No official announcement/reply has been made since the Pac has said this, so until then I don’t think we can form any concrete opinions on what Floyd is doing.

One thing is for sure though, Pacquiao’s agreement to 14 days is a very compromising move, a move that should be accepted to make the fight happen. Any further demands by Mayweather that will throw more road blocks in the way, will be just pathetic and classless (especially when you consider the manner in which he and his team have launched these accusations and requests).

    Granted it's all speculation
But if Floyd does reject the 14 day cut-off, he is a ****.

he hasnt rejected anything he already made his claims known even before the Mosley fight.....

Pac all of a sudden comming out to say ill do 14 days is just a ploy to shift spotlight off him and this is a well put together scheme as before Pac said he would do 14 days....his buddy Arum said they would not be talking to the media about negotiations and he was very adimant about it.....but have sense fled to the media with bullshyt.

i dont blame either fighter..dont blame Pac for not taking a test he doesnt have to...dont blame Floyd for asking for a better test. They have their reasons.

If Mayweather now rejects the 14 day cut off, I don't think it's an indication of his fear of Pacquiao (far from it). Instead, it just confirms what we’ve all believed from the very beginning – this cleaning up the sport parade is one pathetic front, to get a distracted Manny Pacquiao in to the ring. Floyd’s a competitor more than anything else, and he will pull almost any trick in the book to get a competitive advantage (be it physical or mental) going in to a fight.

    spot on.

and to think some posters here acted like floyd is a messiah that would make the sport free from drug abuse.

he has all the advantages on this fight, and yet still...:-(
