Floyd ADAPTS....like we seen tonight...he doesnt fight a set gameplan he fights according to the fighter and i think he puts it on P who's D is centered around elusiveness unconventional great defesne Floyds D is conventiional as he blocks, parry, and rolls shots....as accurate as Floyd is he would catch P trying to maneuver out of the way Floyd's acuracy and timing is impecable as we seen tonight.

Not above Whitaker...but he definately supplanted himself among the top 30 of all time....if you ask me.

(BTW, I have Sweet Pea in the top 10-15)

Whitaker's defense was every bit as complete. He could catch shots, slip shots, and jump out of range of shots (just like Floyd). But he was also great at slipping shots with his hands down, in perfect range to be hit.

Haha just stop talking, you have no idea what you are talking about and i'd be confident betting you've never even seen a Sweet Pea fight.

if he beats cotto, there is a chance he could rate higher than pernell.

as it stands pernells best wins (from the top of my head) were against:

    haugen
    ramirez
    mcgirt
    hurtado
    J.C Vasquez
    Nelson

    Floyd's best:

    hernandez
    corrales
    castillo
    de la hoya
    hatton
    judah

a win over cotto+williams/cintron/margo etc could probably put him over sweetpea.

at this point in pernell career(nearing 31) he had yet to win his 4th wolrd title pbf has won in his fifth weight class..,and floyd has already beaten oscar which it took sweet pea 3 more years to face..,

hey at this point PBF has done more..,facts are facts...,
