I thought you were going to go out and get drunk on your birthday? Why spend it in here getting schooled? There'll be other days for that. Rivera-Whitaker 1 could have gone either way. It was a close fight and not a robbery. The scribes were pretty much divided on who won the fight. They weren't saying he got a gift.
getting schooled by who, you two delusional nuthuggers. I love it when people say they are schooling you, it just makes you guys look like idiots. Wilfredo rivera put a ****in paint job on his face, i can guarantee a 32 year old mayweather would never get embarassed by a journeyman like that, not even a 35 year old mayweather. You spend every day on this forum, actually i think your on it more than i am, so dont try the 'you dont have a life' bull**** with me.
You used height and reach as a point in an argument on size. I used Baldomir to show that it is not always indicative of actual size, considering that Mayweather held those advantages over Baldomir and was clearly smaller. I never said you argued he was bigger....that was not in contention. It's obvious he is bigger. And as I said, I don't believe that Mayweather is bigger than Whitaker. You do, but that is not going to sway my opinion. I feel Whitaker was a bit thicker. You feel it was fat. Ok, I don't agree. I feel Mayweather is a bit smaller, and I feel that it's relevant in discussing how in fighting different versions of DLH, each had different things to overcome. DLH was bigger than when he fought Whitaker, and used that to his advantage. It was not an obstacle Whitaker had to overcome. Whitaker overcame different obstacles, but it had a different effect on the fight. DLH has been at 154 for years, so it's ridiculous to say he was just "fatter" than he was when he first got to 147.
Perhaps not. But I guarantee you a prime Whitaker would never have trouble with Castillo. And as was said, it wasn't en embarassment, you're distorting **** to attempt to win an argument. You really are the resident mole.
Please pal, you know whitaker got the christmas gift, your ass will never be open to admit it. Wilfredo rivera beat him up and whitewashed his entire face.
Who knows if Mayweather will even man up and fight when he's 32 years old. He'll probably retire 4 or 5 times before that and spend the day after in the gym training. Happy birthday by the way. You're probably hammered right now as we speak, but your posts don't sound any different today than they do any other day.
Actually, I feel that Mayweather's performance HAS dropped off at WW when fighting WW. Hatton and he are close to the same size. Both are 140 fighters. This is the worst version of Mayweather for sure. Yes, Mayweather has a more muscular physique. This doesn't alter the fact that I feel Whitaker was slightly larger. I think he carried more weight, fat or not, when he was at WW. I don't feel he is a WW.....but neither is PBF. Either way, being hung up on one small thing changes nothing in the larger scheme of things. Our original discussion around scoring hasn't changed. You didn't argue that Whitaker landed more shots and should have won because of this, but PBF landed more shots and lost anyways. You argued something entirely different.
Low brow, but it will hurt pimp more than any logical argument ever could. He'll actually understand that jibe.
By the way, you talk about schooling. I remember shareef replied to your ridiculous zarte toney thread and you didnt respond. He has told me that hes ready to eat you alive in any debate regarding toney and zarte, what a joke pintor being greater than nunn, haha.
Mayweather isn't the same Mayweather of 130 pounds, no question, but he has not declined to the same extent as Whitaker did from 135 to 147 I'm sure you'll agree. Whitaker did carry more weight than PBF, I entirely agree, but I think it was more fat than muscle really, which explains why Pea lost more sharpness with the move up. He actually fought Vasquez with a pot belly.
I am not sure that Mayweather hasn't declined as much. Reason being, Whitaker fought the best of the best at WW and he was less dominant. At 135, he was one of the 3-4 best ever fighters there. Mayweather hasn't fought that level of comp at 147. He may, subsequently, look better than Whitaker there because of it.
I can't exactly remember shareef's post, most likely he was already covering ground that had been done in the thread and there wasn't a need to go over it again. I'll actually look over it again now to see how I got schooled. In any case, more people in the classic forum thought Zarate was better than Toney and they were divided re Nunn-Pintor. As I said when I originally discussed it with you, it will be equivocal. And so it turned out to be.
whitaker didnt fight quartey and trinidad during his title run, then again its not his fault, you can blame the promoters for that.
