no , most picked toney. Send him a pm telling him why you think zarate is greater, he'll rip u apart. Hes the biggest toney nuthugger there is.

How could it turn out that way, everyone knows pintor was a lesser fighter that got kod by taxi drivers.

You disagree with many things many people say. Do you feel it is a case of simply refusing to see? I am not going to bother if you start the "You don't get it if you don't agree with me" bit.

Look at Mayweather at 135 though. Was he really that much different? He was struggling there with a good honest workhorse in Castillo. Quite frankly I think he has looked more impressive, although facing slightly inferior comp at the higher weights.

I still think for instance that the welterweights of the mid to late nineties would beat Floyd, but that is more to do with the fact that I don't think Floyd was ever THAT great to begin with than it is with the fact that he is undersized (which of course he is and which would factor into the outcome of the fights).

So.....he fought Chavez, DLH, Rivera, and McGirt among others. 3 of those fighters were top 10 P4P fighters. If anything, considering who Whitaker fought and who Trinidad fought, I would say it was Trinidad who didn't fight Whitaker, not vice versa.

I'll bring the thread up again later on to expose you. Not that it will really prove anything. Who even doubts that you're an ass?

And I think it has a great deal to do with size. Mayweather was also injured in the first fight with Castillo. He didn't struggle with him in the 2nd fight, though it's not the whitewash his fans say it was. Mayweather could easily dominate 140 and even 135 had he stayed. Castillo just had the style to bother him. There is one of those in every weight class for every great fighter.

expose me in what way, cuz you brought up your own facts about why you think they are better.

Even though james toney fought better opponents, beat more ranked fighters and did more in his career. Send him a pm, he'll school you. Zarate, haha what a joke. Kos taxi drivers and as soon as he moves up 4 pounds, he gets whitewashed.

Castillo had the style to bother him, Kostya Tszyu probably had the style to bother him too. Stevie Johnston could have posed some problems too from the southpaw stance (I actually had him edging Castillo twice btw), as could Spadafora... Maybe even Hatton would bother him at 140 (unlikely though). Can we really be sure that it was only Castillo that would bother him? He moved up before we had time to tell. Most likely he beats all these guys but it's no sure thing to me.

Expose you in showing that more didn't think Toney was better than Zarate.

I'm not going to go over the same **** with you re Toney Zarate. You can laugh all you want about Zarate getting whitewashed by Wilfredo Gomez. I'll laugh with Toney getting whitewashed by Dave Tiberi and Drake Thadzi.

By the way, im not a mayweather fan, i like whitaker way more than i like floyd. But you know, once he signs that contract and fights cotto, hes gonna surpass him and i just have to live with it.

But unlike sweet pea, i dont find either fight to be invincible. Hell i think cory spinks or vernon forrest would probably beat mayweather at 147 or 154. I know aaron pryor would have beat whitaker head to head.

There have been many times when lupe pintor got whitewashed, hell some guys that kicked his ass were local scrubs. Nunn has more talent in his pinky than pintor has in his whole body.

Well yes, but this is a different debate to me. All I am saying is that its hard to tell if Whitaker wasn't as good when he moved up OR if the combination of fighting larger fighters who were also good made him less dominant. Mayweather fought better competition at the lower weights than he has at the higher ones....he may very well not be as good, but the level of competition not being equal, it's hard to tell.

Cory spinks is underrated man, his fight with taylor may have been a snoozefest but i cant believe the man was 2 rounds away from becoming middleweight champion of the world, he almost beat taylor!

How many local scrubs beat him in his prime? Nunn is more talented than many fighters that are better than him. If talent was the sole criteria for what makes a good fighter than Hector Camacho might have been top ten all time rather than top 200.
