I have no problem with that - they weren't performing at a high level at the time each got to them, but they are recognizable names and worth mentioning. Don't get me wrong, I don't consider either big wins.

It's unlikely Pendleton KNOCKS OUT Castillo - the man had an iron chin

Hey if Corrales can do it, why couldn't Pendleton? Freddie was an even bigger banger at 135 than Corrales was and he was more explosive as well.

He did knock out Roger Mayweather, Livingston Bramble and Sammy Fuentes there, and had the skill to draw with Frankie Randall and beat Jorge Paez and Tracy Spann, whilst giving Pernell Whitaker a good scrap.

Pendleton was inconsistent, but if he knocked Castillo out, or even won on points, I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

Pendleton was a big puncher at 135 and anything could happen. I'd be more comfortable picking a points win at his best form.

If he beats cotto then yes he is, dont tell this to the delusional fans though.

Genaro Hernandez and Castillo are both better than ramirez. Ramirez was at the tail end of his career when pernell beat him.

Nelson beats castillo and corralles, haha. Both are much bigger nelson, never did **** at 135 and he got a gift draw against an ex bantamweight.

 Wow, you have the nerve to mention Hernandez as better than Ramirez and then call Ramirez at the tail end of his career. IT WAS HERNANDEZ'S LAST FIGHT!!!

They aren't much bigger than Nelson, and the guys Nelson lost to he did so past his prime. Mosley never did anything at 140, so if someone beat him there it wouldn't be a big win? Your logic is that of a 2 year old.

In my opinion, give Ramirez 15 rounds to work with against Hernandez at 130-5 and I tell you what, one of them is quitting before the bout is out. Guess who it would be?

newsflash to you smartass, if nelson fights at 135, its when he's in his 30s. Dont try and act like some 1984 version of nelson is gonna go from featherweight and grow into a lightweight.

Jose Luis Ramirez wasnt coming off a loss over chavez? Your the two year old you moron.

In their first fight, no he surely wasn't, in fact, he was coming off a pretty good streak. And regarding the second fight, point me to where I said that anyway. I'll wait.

See thats the thing, whitaker fans will have to mention 'losses' to help out his resume. His official "wins" resume really isnt that great. I just cant wait until floyd fights 2 more big names like a cottto, etc. It will end this silly argument. O wait you will still rank whitaker higher nevermind. Either way, its my b day, im gonna go get hammered, good bye!

I would give Mayweather the slight edge at this point, especially considering officially that Whitaker Drew to Chavez and lost to De la hoya, Ramirez and Trinidad. No point talking about what could have been. His best wins are good ones, against Nelson, Roger Mayweather, Vasquez and McGirt.... But are they really better then the like of Castillo, Corrales, De la hoya, Hatton, Hernandez ect? I'm not so sure.

before i will leave for today. I have seen the first ramirez whitaker fight and although i wouldnt give ramirez the win at all. I could probably settle for a draw. I mean the entire fight pernell was on the bicycle and he did too much showboating and clowning off to **** the judges. It wasnt a win, but you could have given the guy like 6 rounds.
