I like Mick he seems like a good guy but the reality is that his business has really been struggling since his contract with ITV ended.

But I have to say that I find it really strange that John Murray resigned with what is a small promoter when there where rumours that Frank Warren, Golden Boy, Top Rank, Hatton Promotions where all interested and he could make his pick.

The ideal situation would have been a co-promotion between Frank Warren and Top Rank. If he does stay with Mick I think he might struggle to get major fights sadly.

 

If he stays with Mick, he'll keep feeding him cheap labour, they both earn and eventually he will become someones mandatory. He'll get his title shot in his early 30s and if he wins, he can still fight for several years at that level since he's been in so soft prior.

 

how can hhennessy get froch a world title fight after 21 bouts and murray is 31-0 and is still at european level and being kept inactive

 

He can carry on smashing tomotoe cans as long as he doesn't take up a slot on saturday fight night.

I dont understand he has had no tv dates but the only ones he did have with the super 6 he hasnt stacked with his fighters to showcase them. I think Mick Hennessy is a fat waste, he has ruined Junior Witters career.
