    Hmmm...Don't know. Has there ever been a non USA based trainer to win that award. Just wondering, I don't really follow who gets awarded the "Trainer of The Year".

    Felix Trinidad sr. Took it twice, Miguel Diaz once, Enzo Calzaghe once....these are the only non-USA based trainers to get the award. No Mexican trainer has ever been awarded this... Trinidad sr. Twice and Nacho none?

    Not knocking Papa Trinidad, but one would think Nacho would of been there.

    Maybe Nacho suffers from smart fighter effect. His fighter is intelligent so people overlook his contributions as a trainer.
