Yes definitely and he needs to be more active. Being in the gym all the time is no substitute for actual contests.

 

I don't think it would have made any difference in the outcome if he had been active, but you are right, inactivity is the worst thing for a fighter.

 

No shame for Ajose in this fight, Matthysee is a true world class fighter and Ajose gave him a good fight. He can definitely come again and win one of the other world titles. I think he won a lot of fans with his performance.

 

Can Ajose make 135lbs? He was only 143lbs on fight night against Matthyse.

 

He last fought at 135 pounds in his amateur days.

 

He trained hard but would have been much sharper had he been active. There are better performances in him. Full credit to Matthyse though and no excuses. Better man won on the night.
