It's not being shown at all on boxnation now. They have scrapped it and are showing the Klitschko fight instead.:-(
Yeah just found out can't believe boxnation scrapped it. I know the main title fight was postponed but this is a great fight and really makes boxnation look bad seriously they better have a good explanation. :-(
Yep. They said they are showing the Klitschko fight live earlier so they have scrapped the later show.:-( Probably realised sky have the ward fight at the same time and thought it wasn't worth it now the Alexander fight is off.
They are ****ing idiots depriving the UK fans of the best fight of the night for the boring Klitshckos.
Can't wait to hear Steve try to spin this. "Nope, we aren't bringing you a homegrown talent in a title challenge against a legitimate elite (possibly the best in the world in his class) - but we are bringing you a potentially quite boring heavyweight mismatch! "
Do we not think the Klitschko fight will be live "Intentional" that would make the decision even worse if they show a pre recorded fight.
At the time of that post it hadn't yet clicked for me that the conflict might be a cost thing, until that was pointed out. I was looking at it as a time issue...which is why it made no sense. Like they were going to pass on showing Matthysse vs. Olusegun to simulcast HBO's coverage of Klitschko vs. Charr on tape-delay running at about the same time. Boggled the mind. But yeah, it's no less boggled at the fact that they're willing to blow out their budget for the day on Klitschko vs. Charr live and then pass up entirely on Matthysse vs. Olusegun later on. It isn't like BN have balked from epic several-hour-long broadcasts in the past, lumping a European card with an American one much later the same night with some filler in between. FFS, how much is it setting them back to run Klitschko vs. Charr, that they're too skint to have any left over for the late-night action in Vegas? :blood
:good Couldn't give a **** about the Klitschko fight myself, will be watching the Bellew bill instead.
who gives a **** about charr. This is sad stuff Olusegun can't catch a break what could be potentially be the best night of his career won't even be shown in the country he fights out of.
i dont think so, a guy with 30-1 with his sole loss against the best guy in the division easy pickings for a champ defending his title.
