PBF takes a lot of heat from haters here at eastside for not fighting the best at 147. That is the only division they bring up like PBF didn't whoop everyones ass in 130. Then 135, 140, 147 faught Baldo #1 welter and linear champ and Zab who was undisputed one fight before PBF. Oscar at 154 while Oscar dictated everything.

At 135 we know Pac ducked Nate to fight caugh world beater David Diaz lol. 147 De La Hoya shot to death and won't fight Cotto for Cotto ww title at 147. He beat Hatton so now he does have to clean out the best right. Tim Bradley anyone. Just for the record I know Pac won't clean 140 out because now it's all about money just like Floyd no?:huh Why no hate for Pac fighting a bum at 135 or 147? I mean he could of at least challenged himself lol.

No, he has not fought the best. And before the *******s get their pannies in a bunch, it's not hating, it's the damn truth.

The only fighter that JMM has fought above 130 that was the best is Ricky Hatton, and that is highly questionable.

But at 135, 147 he has not fought the best.

I mean PBF not cleaning out 147 is all you haters talk about like his fights at 130,135,140,154, and even his fights at 147 don't even count. He has 39 pro fights but people hate like 147 is where he has been fighting his whole life. What standard do we hold Pac to? It's not the same one for PBF I know that much.

And if we are being honest Hatton had nothing left and it showed in Lazcano and Mallanaggi even buckled Hatton a few times and Mallanaggi punches as hard as a ****ing 3rd grader lol.

comparing fraud with Pac in this case its ridiculous considering that Pac has only fought three times above 130 and all the fights happened in diferent weight classes ,nobody cleans aa division with one fight.

I think it's because PBF has stayed at 147 for a long time. At 140 Diaz wasn't the best fight, no doubt it wasn't, but I saw that as a tune-up. DLH was a huge money fight, and I don't care if DLH was drained, it was a dangerous fight and you know it, the fight couldn't be at 154, no way, they fought at the best weight possible.

He did however fight Hatton though.

If Pac were to stay at 140 indefinitely, and doesn't fight the best, yeah I'd agree with you.

    Truth is...

One claims to be the greatest of all-time.
(Is his own match maker, Yet don't come thru)

The other will tell you "Nothin' personal...It's my Job"
(After beating whoever they post in front of him)

I'll let u figure out which is which?

Did he (Pac) or did he NOT fight the best at 135 and 147? Hell at 130 he only fought JMM, just one guy that was considered top level.

This double standard thing holds about as much water as most reverse racism charges. All those years Manny was learning how not to be a one handed kayo artist, Floyd was viewed as the clear P4P #1, going on TV and calling himself the best ever, and to go by his tone, meaning it when he said it.

Manny's been at 140 now for what, six months? How long did Floyd have to make fights at 147? And compared to 147 then, how many really credible opponents are there for Manny at 140? Bradley, yes. After that, it gets a lot thinner. It's nothing like 147 three years ago.

Picking apart Floyd's career choices doesn't interest me much anymore though. Pretty much everything that needs to be said has been said by both sides.

Clearly a double standard when regarding Pac.

    double standard.

Pac fought 3 fights above 130. the first one was a title holder, the second was a 2 division jump in one shot, the third was a lineal champion.

Floyd fought 8 fights above 135. The first two were title eliminators (lol) the third one was a title holder, the 4th one was a 1 division jump, the 5th one was a title holder, the 6th one was a lineal champion, the 7th one a title holder, the 8th was a title defense.

If Pac fought 8 fights like that back to back, he would get ****ing crucified.

Floyd moved up to 140 and fought Corley and Bruseles back to back, and then fought a paper champ Gatti.

Pac moved up to 135 and fought the paper champ right away, he didn't waste his time fighting 2 title eliminators.

thats the double-standard. If Pac had fought 2 guys who didn't even have titles and then fought a paper champ, he would be rediculed

I can see the authors point but when did floyd fight the best at 140?? I obviously didn't catch his fight with Kostya Tszyu!!!

    At 135...Floyd fought better fighters.
At 140...Pac fought Hatton who's better than anyone Floyd fought there.
147 is Floyd, but Cotto (although the fight isn't techinacally @ 147) is better than anyone Floyd has fought there!!!
