It is a double standard. People act like Pac is beating world beaters. Here I will say it again for them Pimp. Since leaving 130 how impressive is what Pac has done. I don't see the greatness in 135 Diaz is a bum 147 De la Hoya was shot and weight drained Roach words not mine and everyone can see now Hatton was shot look at Lazcano and feather fisted Malanaggi almost dropped him lol. Sorry I stopped using periods and commas I am typing really fast. Those are Pacs last 3 fights, all against BUMS or shot fight fighters.

140 Cotto,Hatton, were to green I believe is the term there camps used or not ready. People are only willing to get the **** beat out of them by Floyd if it's for a big pay day a la Mosely now ready and Hatton hitting the ring post.

Subconsciously, you wish JMM could be Pacquiao.

If it were up to Manny he would fight anybody, but it's not up to him. His managment chose the path of least resistance in 135lbs, same in welter against Hoya. Ricky Hatton's style is taylor made for Pac. nothing against Manny, but it's the truth. I don't think Cotto is shot like many say he is, but he is vulnerable right now.

Pac was also #2 P4P when he moved to 135 and a bigger name than PBF was when he was at 135 and 140.:deal

He couldn't fight Zoo. PBF was a HBO fighter and Zoo was a Showtime fighter they've only done cross-promotion fights twice once was Pea-Chavez and the second was Tyson-Lewis. Neither PBF or Zoo had a big enough name to warrant such a promotion the fight was virtually impossible.:deal Not to mention Zoo lost to hatton and made it all a moot point. We all know Hatton turned down PBF at 140 so he went up to 147 to chase Zab.

I would say even Floyd's biggest fans would begrudging say that PBF run at 140 & 147 has been largely disappointing. Whether that is because of boxing politics (promoters), floyd, the other boxers, networks, etc. With as much clout as floyd has now and the amount of money that can be generated from match-ups with him, hopefully many of these obstacles can be overcome in the next year or so and we get to see what he can do against the best of what's out there now. I can't wait...

hindsight being 20/20...the 135 division during Pac's reign was a joke. Juan Diaz would have gotten killed against the speed of Manny Pacquiao. Casamayor was already past prime but still a dangerous fighter. Nate Campbell's career defying win was against Juan Diaz. Then you got David Diaz who was very underrated if you look at his fight compared to Ricky Hatton. David lasted 9 rounds and don't give this
BS that Pac should have taken him out earlier. The fight would have been stopped due to cuts and would have been ruled a ND. David Diaz fought with heart compared to Nate Campbell who quit on his stool against Timothy Bradley.

As for 140..he fought 1 of 2 guys who were undefeated. Ricky Hatton over Timothy Bradley. Pac could still fight Bradley in the future but I think he eventually ducks Bradley.

At welter weight, he fought ODLH who weighed in at 145 against Pacquiao. Why is it Pacquiao's fault that ODLH did not rehydrate? He did what he had to do and that's what no man can ever say what they did except for B-hop, and that was make Oscar quit. Bernard even lost a few rounds against the smaller and bloated ODLH.

He's fighting Miguel Cotto at 145. You can bet Cotto will rehydrate properly and give Pacquiao more trouble than EITHER ODLH or Ricky Hatton.

Should he have fought Shane Mosely instead? ABSOLUTELY. Mosely was giving Pac every concession. Mosely beat the hell out of Margarito and lost a close decision in New York to Cotto. Can't remember if Mosely fought the well overrated but dangerous Ricardo Mayorga at 147 also.

At the end of the day, Pac will have fought Hatton, Cotto and Mayweather if all goes according to plan...and I'd like to hear your thoughts about Pac win or lose against this type of competition.

Right on point. pac has fought above 130 only 3 times. Diaz, a tune up. Dela hoya, Money (c'mon anybody WILL fight dlh just for the money), Hatton, A lineal champ, the man at 140. So what if pac stays at 140 or 135 and fight the likes of bradley, holt, urango, malignaggi, diaz, valero......do you really think pac will lose to any of them .....what would you haters say??? he's ducking cotto ? pbf? c'mon now. As far as I now, Pac is again about to move up in weight and fight a very dangerous cotto. So what would you rather see, Pac vs cotto...or pac vs "THE BEST" at 140 and 135????

Correction. He fought TWO of the best at 130. JMM and EM. Past it or not, Morales was still at the top 3 of that division. He was also a top 10 P4Per at the time, if I'm not mistaken.

  14. Now David Diaz is underrated? You're boderline ******ed.

Losing to a past prime Barrera and ZAHIR RAHEEM, now justify having Morales in the top 10 P4P.
