Tough to pick against Roy in any p4p matchup, but Pac made it a debatable point tonight.

Come on now, of course he did. The only true championship Roy ever picked up was the SMW World Title. He did beat a green Hopkins, a top Toney, McCallum, Griffin, Hill (after Michalczewski), but the only other notable wins are Tarver (1-2 in trilogy), Tito (maybe a bit underrated win actually - it's not rated at all) and Ruiz (just as overrated as Pac vs. DLH).

Pac picked up numerous lineal titles (FlyW, FW, SFW, LWW) and beat a ton more quality names. Pacquiao might get overrated a bit in an ATG top list, but Roy is ranked way too high IMO, Pac clearly ranks higher, for some time now.

IM a massive RJJ fan, Jones would have was regarded dead set top 10 ATG ....until Tarver rematch...(though he was 35)

Pac has had greater opponents and beaten more ATGs

so PAQ gets it for me.

No doubt Jones was a virtuoso...but PAC is an animal he better than Roach's hero reberto Duran.

    Jones is borderline top 20

    Pac is top 10

That's how I see it too. RJJ was incredible at his peak, but what can you say about Pacman? He is a ****ing threshing machine and keeps testing himself and keeps walking away victorious. He has not only proved himself at the higher weights but looks better and more comfortable. At 140 and above he hits harder and looks more robust than he ever did at super feather never mind below.

Yes, certainly. He's probably 5-10 places ahead of RJJ now, at least.

I thought Pac surpassed RJJ when he was at 130.

The second point is conjecture, you can only base it on resume.
