I do not know.Manny fighting these fights these days, they prove absolutely nothing.

I would like to see him retire or make fights that add to his legacy

He is inactive, fights with opponents no one wants to see him in the ring with and it´s all on PPV.

I agree that Pacquiao for the most part is irrelevant.

    Yep.
That's why I want the previous generation to leave.
RJJ > irrelevant for a while now
    Cotto > irrelevant
    Pac > irrelevant
Mayweather > fortunately retired (let's please keep it that way)

Yes, for the simple reason that there are no fights out there that can enhance his legacy. Similarly, nothing can harm it as any loss will be put down to him being past his best.

An ATG who should probably call it a day.

He's getting there. Even if he beats Vargas, who's he going to fight? I suppose it could be somebody from PBC, since Crawford-Molina is likely, but who knows.

He needs to retire ASAP .

He became an ATG long , long time ago .

    Nothing left to accomplish .

Still one of the most popular athletes out there on the combat world. Manny can still compete with almost anyone in his class.

Pacquiao hasn't won by stoppage in 7 years, that's a long time, to put that in to some sort of perspective featherfisted Malingaggi stopped Senchenko just over 4 years ago.

His name does not carry the same sort of excitement it did 8 years ago, he is long past his best and boxing fans know it, it's clear to see. I think he should have retired after Mayweather.

This is true for the most part, I wouldn't call Cotto irrelevant just yet, he's still
been performing at a fairly higher level more recently. But Pac, Floyd, Roy, Bernard,
Tarver, Cunningham, and countless others, it's time to release the reigns and move
    into the sunset.
