I wouldn't say that, they just demanded a better amount of money and Arum wanted none of it. It's not like Arum had any options at the time, he was considering Mayorga for God's sake till Hopkins showed up.

I'll admit Williams is just wrong for Mayweather, the guy made Margarito look small for God's sake and his activity is insane. He sure as hell can make Welterweight so there is no excuse for Mayweather to turn down that fight.

I'd rather see Mayweather against Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley, Berto and anyone else than Williams.

Paul is flat out ducked. He is willing to fight in three weight divisions and can not land a meaningful fight. They can cry for more money all they want. I do not think anyone from welterwight to middle weight who would be favored to beat Paul and no one will fight him. That means ducking is going on!

Kolle's beaten Vanda and Bonsante, so he's not a complete tomato can. He's not world class either, but he's no worse than a lot of the guys you see headlining on FNF.

Williams should fight Dawson unless Johnson gets a shot. Williams should fight Adamek, or how about a fight with Taylor?

Why should he fight those guys? Cause of his height? Should Corrales in his prime days should have went up to middleweight since he's 6'0? Should Margarito fought at middleweight since he's 5'11 and has the body of a super middleweight? Shut up farm.

Im gonna Get Reemed for this one .... BUT

I Think sergio mora would be a good fight for williams

I Think it would be a Decent Fast Paced Fight????

Seeing as we are talkin about height......Mora is 6ft tall

paul is apparantly 6ft 1in even tho he looks 8ft tall!!!!!

I Think mora will give him problems
mora with his upper body movement and herky jerky style is a hard target
to find he is awkward enough to get inside pauls reach
margarito couldn't but he's to stationary
mora is up 'n' down like a whores drawers....lol
Williams output is awesome but mora will constantly be on the move
and if he gets caught coming in i think he will survive
as most of pauls rangey combo's are mostly Flickey Light shots
Mora had been preparing for pavlik which is probably quite similar
BUT....lets face it if mora gets caught coming in with pavlik ......
    he's in Trouble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But i think he would be crafty enough to get inside with williams
not that he has any power inside but he is fast and aggressive
and knows how to show off in front of the judges???
and if Quintana outboxed williams over 12.... Mora has a chance????

IM NOT SAYING MORA WOULD WIN!!!!!!!!!!

I JUST THINK IT WOULD BE A DECENT FAST PACED SCRAP :think

DONT TEAR ME A NEW ONE ITS JUST A THOUGHT!!!!!!!

Farmboxer has been spittin this ridiculous bull**** for a while now. WTF? Paul had to eat like a ****in horse to fight Winky. What yall don't know is that he is NOT weightdraining. He is naturally a skinny motha****a. He walks around lighter than probably anyone you can think of from 147 up.

All this height talk is just a bunch of excuses from the haters.

Williams is in a similar predicament as Dawson. There are elite guys in his division, but he doesn't bring enough cash to the table to get their attention.

So, like Dawson, he is forced to fight recycled names and move around divisions for better money. I'm sure Chad will be looking at the 168 crop if he gets past Johnson, just as Williams will take a look at Pavlik should that bout become available.

Personally, I'd like to see him take on SD at 154. That's a fight fan's fight and give PW an opportunity to add another very solid name to his resume.

I cant believe there are still so many PW haters out there. You guys are ****ing garbage out here, why do you have to hate on these guys. Paul Williams willing to fight anybody in 4 different weight classes, and youre trying to say hes ducking somebody. Please, the dude is a Natural 154 pound fighter, he looks skinny as hell at MW. I'd rather see him fight at WW, he can easily make the weight and the best fights are there for him.

Priced himself out of Pavlik my ass, Pavliks one demensional ass probably wanted an 80/20 split or some bs like that. Paul Williams deserves some respect.

I think he should settle at one weight calss now and imo it should be 154. He can make that weight comfortably and won't have to grow into the weight like he needs to at 160. He should leave welterweight as it doesn't seem he is going to get a fight there. They're all either busy, won't fight him cos of money or are just straight ducking him.

Theres no point in hanging around. Plus the guys at 154 are less likely to duck him. Some of them have already said they will fight him, so that's the best option.

HBO money. $2.5 to Pavlik. $1.25 to Williams. Well documented at the time.
