Has pavlik ever been knocked down??

i thought Zuniga knocked him down

 

I think he's been down 3 times

 

He was down against Bronco McKart, but that was a shot to the body that caught Pavlik off balance. I read that he was down in an earlier fight, but I didn't see it.

 

Yeah - I've heard the same things.

 

Zuniga, rd 1- KP then went on to dominate and it ended rd 9. McKart, rd 3 scored a knockdown, bs, ended with a body shot rd 6. His 5th fight Bedburdick knocked him down in rd 1, TKO in rd 3.

 

i also heard about the Zuniga and McKart knockdowns.. but in any event they were just flash kd's..

 

Despite these 3 knockdowns, I assume that his chin is very solid.

 

i watche d the zuniga fight but caught the end of it didn't see the knock down ... but he took some flush shot from miranda.. over all i think his chin is pretty good

I know he had a knockdown against Zuniga, and a knockdown (off balance) against Mckart.

 

he got knocked down by a bum early in his career.

 

I think tall rangy fighters are somewhat prone to flash knockdowns due to balance issues that don't necessarily reflect the quality of their chin
