I doubt we ever know it all, its about the same as if a 20 year married couple were asked publicly about each other as they are going through a divorce. It's gonna be ugly. Both parties think they are right and did no wrong. Lets face it, both parties have their fault in this and so life goes on. Bottom line for me is neither guy would have got to where they did without each other, maybe some day they will realize that.
Loew needs to realize that Kelly stuck with him longer than anyone in their right mind thought he should and move on. He could have preserved a paid position within the corner in a lessor capacity and the possibility of working with Kelly in the future(on the down side). Instead he wants to act like Tiger Wood's caddy.
I think that was part of the problem. The local reporter pulling quotes from Jack's interview and asking for Kelly's reaction. It just made things worse. They really needed to sit down in person and talk it out. Doesn't sound like either was happy about the situation and didn't make a concerted effort to make that happen. I'd call it 50/50.
Care to tell us your background to make that call? You can at least lie all you want unless you know someone can call you on it, so make it good. Seriously, you come in with a one liner. Do you have the savvy to back it up? Honest question because some people that DO training have a different opinion.
First of all, Jack Loew's answer to everything is "Double the ****ing jab". Secondly, he is a mediocre coach.
Third, you proved you have no clue with "first". :deal Just because a bunch of half wits get together and all say the same thing doesn't make any of you a full wit. atsch
Right. Kelly's sittin' there sayin' "I sent him a text".....:!: Well Hell's fire Kelly, don't go too far out of your way or nothin'. It's too obvious they haven't talked, as Kelly is learnin' what was said from the reporter dude. Other hand, I can sort of see where **** had gotten so FUBAR'd that once Top Rank had given the kid an ultimatum if he wanted to fight ANY MORE, he may have not known how to tell Jack. On that hand I can see why Kelly may have been less than in a hurry to break the news to him. Now, like others have said here, it's like any other 20 year relationship between people that is getting broke off suddenly and sharply. Gonna be some heated feelings, especially when it's all "News".
I thought Kelly should have left jack after the hopkins fight. Kelly was destroyed in that fight and jack didn't have a plan B for Kelly. It really showed jacks inability to properly prepare his fighter for a fight the magnitude of a fight with Bhop. That fight really damaged Kelly mentally and the rebuilding process should have started immediately after the fight without jack. I respect jacks service to Kelly over the years, but it should have ended that night.
