ive seen about 10 of his fights and dont remember him ever going down. can anyone help me out. thanks in advance. i know he came close in the Hatton fight, i know it was more off a slip off balance but if he had gone down it would have been ruled one because the jab did land.
If you want to count the one time his glove just barley touched the ground when he fought zab judah, then yes, i'm sure *******s will be more than happy to bring it up and discuss how it should of been counted as a knockdown.
it definitely touched the ground. there's no denying that. and it should have been counted as a knockdown.:good
He was down vs. Judah, come on. Judah caught him with a beauty and his glove clearly touched the floor. That's about it though, guy is a beast (added to offset any accusations I am a *******).
its funny because i can see both fighters climbing off the canvas should a mayweather/pacquiao fight happen
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fswFNvqgyk[/ame] This is the only official KD of Mayweather's career. He doubled over in pain because his hand was broken.
Judah connected with a check hook and Floyds glove touched the canvas. So it was a KD although not officially as the ref didn't call it.
the judah fight, floyd came in judah countered with a faster one and BAM floyd almost went down and his gloves actually touched the canvass the referee didn't see because floyd stood up immediately
Just like he's never been beaten in his pro career, officially Floyd has never been knocked down either (bar that broken hand incident against Hernandez). The man is one of the sharpest and most alert fighter I have ever seen. But un-officially, yes Zab made him touch the canvas with his glove (no doubt about it). Just like Castillo un-officially beat him in their first fight.
His only official knockdown came against Carlos Hernandez which someone already posted... and he should have been called for a knockdown agaisnt Zab judah. Either way neither one was a true, hard knockdown so you gotta give Floyd props for that.
Judah knocked him down, it wasn't ruled a kd, Chavez never kd'd him, but it got ruled, so it evened itself out. EDIT- sorry, Hernandez
