Has PBF-JMM been firmed-up 4 7/11? If so, where?

This is the picture that Mayweather fanboys paint in their minds no matter who Mayweather faces.......

.....and I'm not saying that JMM will beat Mayweather, but I will say they're in for a rude awakening when Mayweather is forced to get off those ropes from the creeces that JMM will be finding and delivering......

.....in JMM, we're not talking Gatti, Baldomir, Hatton, or even DLH.....we're talking about a master at his craft, a genuine great boxer that knows how to box and knows exactly how to execute a plan.

......and please fanboys, dont reference the fight taking place at 147 lbs......its not going to happen at that weight......Mayweather fights at 147 lbs and Marquez fights at 135 lbs, if the fight were to happen they'd meet at the division between them, which would be 140 lbs.

.....so when you state that your Money May will take target practice on JMM, state so by saying at 140 lbs

I'm rooting for this fight to take place this summer or fall, for the pure shock value that it will send down the Mayweather fanboys spines.......
.....I say that because imo, win or lose, my feeling is that they will view Mayweather Jr. quite differently after the results of this matchup.

Just like like happened to Roy Jones Jr....off the pedestal Mayweather comes after JMM exposes a few of his deficiencies.

Like any fighter, Mayweather has deficiencies, and I'm certain that JMM wiil expose some of them.

    I want the matchup made.....bring it!!!:deal

Those are the types of statements directed toward me way back when I said to everyone that would listen...."Evander Holyfield seems like he cant fight 12 complete rounds......he seems to lose energy all of a sudden.......Mike Tyson may very well beat Evander Holyfield because , but I guarantee you that if Mike Tyson stops Evander Holyfield, it will be late, and Holyfield will be up on the cards!"

When people like you said otherwise, I always thought it would be competitive all the way through, despite Holyfields laspses in energy......

.....back then, people were giving Holyfield zero chance of winning......in fact only one of over 30 boxing beatwrites picked him to win.

How I felt about a Holyfield-Tyson matchup back then, is exactly how I feel about a JMM-Mayweather matchup.....

.....but go ahead and call us JMM supporters delusional......its the type of scenario where having you proved wrong comes even sweeter!:yep

I did'nt actually, but my bad for not making it clear that I was'nt directing my fanboy premise upon you, but on your early post scenario that just about every Mayweather fanboy visualizes.

PBF would be severely weight drained at 140, a weight he has not fought at in 4 years. After watching how barren DLH came in against Pacquiao, he will learn from that lesson and probably fight at a catchweight of 145, if not at 147 outright.

That is, if the fight gets made at all, which would take Golden Boy backing JMM with plenty of millions of dollars.

I think JMM should chase the winner of Bradley-Holt so he can corner Pacman while leaving his options open at the same time, because if JMM were to win the fight against Bradley or Holt he would have two belts and a lot more leverage at the bargaining table.

Why do you think he'd be severly weight drained.....
Mayweather is one of the few fighters who does'nt dehydrate to make weight........

DLH for example had been fighting at juniormiddleweight for eight years before he came all the way down to weight 145 lbs officially vs Pacquiao.
.....and though DLH weighed 154 lbs officially for most of those juniormiddleweight fights, he was actually coming in above the middleweight limit on fightnight.

So in DLH what we had was a aging fighter who'd usually fight in the ring weighing 160 lbs +....now all of a sudden jumping in the ring against Pacquiao weighing exactly 147 lbs.....about a 15 lbs decrease and likely more from what DLH had fought in for 8 years.....

The situation with Mayweather is completely different, because he's been known to be a fighter that usually will gain no more than 2 or 3 lbs from weighin to fightnight....and in many instances coming in lighter than what he officially weighed in.

6 or 7 lbs is what Mayweather will have to drop to fight Marquez......he can either drop them gradually throughout training camp and make 140 lbs officially........or he can do what most fighters do and dehydrate 5 or 6 lbs in the couple of days leading to the fight.

Its not a drastic weight drop for Mayweather, because if
I'm not mistaken, he has said he actually has to work his way up to make weight, instead of dropping the weight during training camp.
If this is the case, he's going to have absolutely no problem making 140 lbs.

Btw, I believe I had read somewhere that a potential rematch for Mayweather to fight against Ricky Hatton in in Manchester England, was going to be for Megabucks and at 140 lbs, where Hatton has claimed he's at his best.

If Mayweather could make 140 lbs for Hatton, he can make it for JMM!
