I guess we can say that Floyd hasn't had a reign in any weight since 135 b/c in order to reign as a champion in a division, dont you have to defend your title. Please tell me if I'm wrong, but in what fight with the exception of Ricky Hatton did he "defend" his title at 140 or 147?

Floyd has not validated his claim to be the best at 147. Personally, I don't think he is. Until he beats Cotto, Mosely, and Williams, he is just a pretender to the throne. With todays Alphabet soup of so called world champions all those belts he packs around do not mean all that much. ****ing Bronco McKart is a two time world champion!!! If they were all in the same divison, Robinson, Duran, Hearns, Arguello, Haglar, and others would be SCREAMING for a ****ing fight with Cotto. Floyd decides to take a year off. There in lies the difference between PBF and greatness!
