I noticed that his last fight was at light middle and he is scheduled to fight verno phillips. If this is correct information then how do you rate his chances at making a splash at such a weight limit.

Yes, he moved up to 154 a long time ago. I think he'd give a lot of guys trouble there, but he's still a step below the elites.

Carlos gets a bad wrap, he is a smooth boxer and the only man to ever beat P-Double!

Calm down little girl. Don't get your pannies in a bunch because I called Quintana a B level fighter.

He's a top B level dude, but he will always be a gate keeper, like Gatti. I love Gatti.

:yep And yes, at this point, JCC Jr. is a C level fighter, hell, I wouldn't even argue against calling him a D level fighter.

Stop being such a whiny little bisnatch. :patsch

Welter is too deep right now, plus he'd have to work his way back up. If he had just stuck to out boxing Williams he'd still be champ. Got cocky and tried to out slug...went to sleep for it.

I think he's more skilled than anyone at 154...really a week division if you don't count Williams.

Quintana is SEVERELY underrated. He has a lot of skill and IMO could pull a lot of upsets, and probably win another belt or two.
