    I'm obviously from USA, so my opinion likely means ****, but I'd say yes. He's def. made an impact in America, winning some fights on HBO with his British flag trunks on.

    I was interested in the outside the UK view as well. Thanks.

    I just noticed that reading the numerous posts on here many people apear to not be able to stand him. There apears to be so much dislike for him and wondered if he had projected a negative image. I was just interested in the general opinion and tried to make the poll public (I'm not sure if the public poll has worked though).

    I like Hatton by the way.

    Most do respect his achievements, some people dont respect the **** he spurts out at times and has started to believe his own hype to a point where if he would get beat by Witter he wouldnt show his face in public again with the **** he talks, but as a boxer inside the ring not many disrespect what he has done in there.

    Yeah, I didn't let my opinion of him affect my call on his status for British boxing. I go thru ups and downs with him to be honest. Leading into the Mayweather fight, (not fair to Ricky I know) so many soccer fans on here posting "matter of fact" style that PBF was garbage and Ricky would kill him, made me want to see him lose that. But then I see interviews etc. of him, where he's just undeniably funny as hell, and I can't help but like him again.:yep
