He ruined a lot of fighters. Vingo, LaStarza, Walcott, Louis, Charles.

Well, he sure ended the careers of Joe Louis and Carmine Vingo, and Jersey Joe didn't fight again after that 1 round ko.

I believe he cracked Vingos skull? and busted vessels in Lastarzas forearms, and broke a couple of arms and smashed some teeth up into peoples heads where they had to be removed surgically

Lets see now...He came extremely close to killing Carmine Vingo with 1 punch. Vingo teetered between life and death. And he even lapsed into a coma. He came out, but his boxing career was done. Marciano was devasted. Thats why in his next match (LaStarza I) he was afraid to pull the trigger. He sheered Rex Laynes teeth off to the nubs with 1 punch. I beleive thats him shown above. Or thats Vingo, 1 or the other.

Thats Vingo. Layne was on his belly when he was counted out. Vingo on his back.

I knew it was one of them. Its sort of hard to tell with all of the blood on his face, and the face being completely smashed too.

If you had to nominate one heavyweight as the all time wrecker of opponents it would be Marciano.

Quite a few were finished whether they fought Marciano or not.

Many of Marciano's opponents retired or sharply declined immediately after facing him, including the young ones. The most notable example is Carmine Vingo, who was a promising and highly-regarded prospect at 20 years old before he was brutally knocked out in the sixth round of a seesaw slugfest with Marciano.
