Has Rolly Romero stock dropped after a 'win' over Luis Ortiz' uncle?

I conidered Rolly Romero as a better fighter up to this fight.

Let's take a closer look on his 'win'

    1) Barroso is (oficially) 40 y.o., 18-years as a pro
    2) Barroso actually looks WAY older than his 'official' age. In fact my 58 y.o. uncle looks 20-25 years younger than Barroso. My 75 y.o. neighbour looks like he is the same age as Barroso or a bit younger
    3) Barroso had 3 losses before this fight, years ago, when he was fresher, and neither (Crolla, Chaniev or Akhmedov) were world beaters, all of them beat Barroso decisively.
    4) Romero got knocked down and thoroughly outboxed by an old guy, who was rightfully clearly ahead on all 3 scorecards
    5) Romero got a gift from Tony Weeks when he pushed Barroso to the canvas in 9th
    6) Romero got a 'win' when Tony Weeks desided to stop the fight though Romero didn't land any decent punches AT ALL

Based on what I've seen, Taylor, Prograis, Lopez, Ramirez, Barboza Jr would eat Rolly alive and knock him out cold.

Hell even Jose Pedraza and Richard Commey would school highly overrated Rolly Romero.

Rolly is and always was hot garbage. The question is, why would PBC and the NSAC tarnish their reputation even further to protect a fighter this bad? I understand Rolly has a small fanbase that formed after PBC hyped him up to sell his fight with Tank but that can only last for so many losses. If Romero couldn't beat Borosso in one of the most gimmie title fights I've seen in years then what makes PBC think he's worth taking a risk on? They should have told Romero that he should beat this guy on his own and if he can't even do that task then go kick rocks.

Unfortunately, Weeks awarded RR the WBA belt.
He unfortunately has some stock now as cringey as it is.

Garcia would love to lift that belt off him for a RR cash out.

Rolly is definitely the weakest link at 140 pounds. Garcia will likely get the first shot at Rolly and finally become a world champion.

He is entertaining and a good ticket seller

Look at Conor McGregor. The guy is on an insane losing streak but will come back to 8 figure paydays
