Has Showtime released the OFFICIAL PPV numbers for Mayweather-Maidana 2 yet?

    In the U.S., that's not always an option.

    You know this. I know you're having a bit of a go of the trolling life here, but you're smarter than that.

    Showtime and HBO not running an efficient fight budgets costs fans opportunities to see fights we should be seeing and that many of us want to see. The main reason Showtime's been drawing my ire lately is because of how egregious the offense is. HBO's not completely off the hook, either.

    Bottom line is a fight like Beterbiev-Cloud is one we should've seen on premium TV here. Roman Gonzalez shouldn't only be a name hardcore fans are familiar with. The Flyweight division is the best in boxing and we're lucky to pull a Spanish broadcast every now and again.

    The networks have to allocate their resources better, particularly Showtime if their 2014 model is any indication of what their plans are moving forward.

    Only if they're exceptionally high.

    Other than that, it's only "whisper" numbers and speculation. Nobody's going to report a loss, breakeven, or mild gain.

    All you need to care about is the amount of money you made on the promotion. Steven Espinoza released that; a big fat $0!
