Has Spence made a big mistake going to sheffield

I'm not sure about all the drug testing stuff but the atmosphere will definitely be like nothing he's ever experienced

 

If it's a close fight then you have to think the judges will favour Brook, whether it's with bias or being influenced by the crowd. I think Brook will have too much for him though

 

I don't know why you guys have a sudden obsession with Spence's nipples and ignored Povetkins tits, but Spence may be in for a tough fight.
Brook has had some rough fights with journeyman and I get on him for that but when a fight matters he always brings his A game.
He did it with Porter and Golovkin and I expect to see him do it again with Errol. What I fear for Errol is those British judges, his lack of tough opponents so far, and his shabby defense.
Spence has been countered pretty good by lesser men, Brook hits harder than those flat footed guys he has faced so far.

 

1, i wish people would shut up about puffy nips and peds until Spence is caught cheating i just dont care.
2, is there not a law against saying negative things about Pamela Andersons physique? There should be.
3, hes took a risk coming to the UK but thats sport isnt it. Americans cant just stay in America all their careers if they have ambition. If its a very close fight Brook would prob get the nod on home soil, but same could be said if it was in Spences back yard too.

 

Spence worked his way into the mandatory position, every fighter wants their shot to win titles. Going to sheffield makes sense because, it's the home of the current champion and as of right now, the pommies can probably lay claim to be the home of international boxing. Given the number of UK champions for such a small island.

 

People forget Tim Bradley had the stones to come over and take what he thought was his. If you're the best you should be willing to get on a plane and prove it. It's not like Brook won the title in Sheffield is it?

I don't think he's planning on it going to the judges actually but at least it's for the IBF title so I'm hoping the judges will be fair,best thing Spence can do is to leave nothing out there like Kovalev did,Kovalev wanted to show the world he could box but you could tell after the result he wished he'd of kicked his ass lol

 

I dont think Spence's condition is roid related as evidenced by his early, maybe 14/15 yo photos.
Surely it's not something he's comfortable about, knowing the jokes floating around, but knowing how they can come on, Im certain he's even more careful as to which supplements he's using, and ensuring his team isnt jeopardizing his career.

As for the mistake.

Very possible, but not because of drugs. But because he hasnt proven his grit against a solid hard puncher who can cut the ring and land the lead R hand like a jab, and drive UCs in clinches.

Not saying Brook has an easy fight ahead of him, b/c for all we know, we may well be looking at the next SRR/SRL/Hagler etc. Hell, Spence could end up being the next RJJ, and peak at LHW. Lord knows he's got the frame for it.

That said. Looking at his CV doesnt look good for him going into this fight. He probably should have set his sights on Avanesyan/Peterson winner.

Take a fight with JSK in the wait or even Guerrero, etc.

Just a possible styles mismatch too early in his career.

Until a fighter is caught using I can't just spit that because a fighter looks to be roided that he is.

Erroll Spence JR is the future and I think the future is now! There is no one more respectful of Special K Kell Brook than I am but I think Spence Jr is something special. In Brook he is fighting the best welterweight in the world.
