i think it's definitely better than it was compared to like 3-4 years ago when you had dudes like mccline, byrd, barret, rahman etc..... usually floating in the top 10 or there abouts. vitali's return last year has definitely made the division a lot more interesting.
Yes, it has finally ended. The Heavyweights have taken back the reigns they lent to the lower divisions a while back and will now take boxing back to the top of the mountain and have a drink of soda once they reach the top.
This is what I'm talkin' about. Nobody can even remember that the guys even fought, that's how lackluster the division is. You try to block the bouts out of your mind. Don't worry, I don't blame you for missing this . . . or not even knowing that it actually occurred as it didn't have much fanfare outside of Europe. This was one of those ESPN Classic affairs, except the bout was not classic. It should have been aired on ESPN Narcoleptic but they haven't made that channel yet but rest assured that when they do it will air nothing but Klitschko fights back to back. ESPN Classic valiantly did their best as they sandwiched the bout in between better programming on each side but, I kid you not, I fell asleep before the end of the bout . . . and this was shown in the afternoon! And, you know what, I didn't feel bad because of it either.
