First of all. Im not a Klitschko. Not at all. I actually dont like them very much. But they are the champions and that is what it is.

Now: Has any of the Klitschko's anything more to prove in the heavyweight division?

I mean? They have clinched the division totally.

They're kinda just doing the rounds, knocking out the bum of the month club and earning a couple mil per fight. Until the new breed develop they won't be tested and they're just making more money out of the fans. No theyve achieved enough to be certified ATG imo.

Even if somebody come along and beat them now, they'll still go down as two of the greatest heavyweights.

I think that they have nothing left to prove that is possible for them to prove in the current reality.

There aren't any great fighters on the horizon for them, no other challenges. The only thing left is for Wlad to have the longest defence/winning streak ever or Vitali to become the oldest heavyweight champ ever. I think Wlad can do that if he wants, but Vitali will slow down before he can beat Foreman's record.

Yes, Wlad has to prove how much longer he can continue to dominate. Maybe he'll try to go down as the longest reigning champion of all time, he's already at 5 years or so isn't he?

Povetkin needs to be slayed. The best possible opponent for either brother since Lewis was fighting.

I hope they have something to prove, I truly do, because in all honestly they've dominated a sad crop of heavyweights for a really long time, and they deserve credit for being on top a long time, relatively untested, but none of their accomplishments place them at the head of the pack of all time great heavyweights.

    No, they don't.

As I've said on other thread, the Klitchkos have faced, between them, like 95 or so opponents.

And they have beaten every single one of those opponents, save one person who has been retired for several years now.

Not much left to prove, then.
