Vitaly retired disgracefully and now Wladimir is looking for a way out fighting all the pretenders available such as Alex Lepai and Alexander Povetkin. Many boxing fans believe that Wlad could fall victim to Fury, Wilder, Chisora, Pulev or even Jennings.

Sure Wlad VS any one of those fighters would be a bigger fight financially speaking than one of those fighters vs another but that's just cause of the groupies. Back in the day many people were saying that Tyson VS Lewis was such a big fight and it was financially speaking but it was all hype, anyone with half a brain knew that Tyson wasn't going to do anything except take a beating that night. Similarly Wlad VS a top contender today would bring in bigger bucks than most other HW fights but many hardcore boxing fans would much rather see the top contenders slug it out amongst themselves. After all, Wlad is old, has 3 ko losses on his record, likes to hug and isn't at all interested in fighting the top contenders.

So basically the Klitschko era ended with neither of the brothers ever stepping up and cleaning out the division but lets hope that this new HW era will be better.

:patsch:patsch He fights for his ideals in the Ukraine, a fight bigger than any possible challenge in the ring. Ridiculous on your part to belittle him. Furthermore he retired at the age of 42. He really earned his retirement from boxing. H2H easily one of the greatest heavyweights ever!!
