Mayweather and Whitaker were both outstanding at using their legs to set up scoring punches, without always setting their feet. Watch how Floyd is so restrained against Baldomir. He had no intentions of getting a KO.

Cotto had so much confidence in his own punching, I think he believed he could accumulate enough damage over the course of the fight to wear Margarito down. Against anyone in the division and most in an all-time sense, he would be correct.

Great fight by Cotto, he just ran out of gas.

ever heard of willie pep....box move and counterpunch. Use a jab. Pernell Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather, Roy Jones,Harold Johnson, Muhammad Ali, Willie Pastrana, Jim Watt....this list goes on. Cotto is a good fighter, but only great fighters can change strategy and improvise when gettiing tired or winded. Cotto hasnt learned how to pace himself and clinich. The difference between a win and a lose in a pick em fight.(ala Leonard-Hearns 1)
