Fury would be a fool to enter this. He needs rounds against reasonably durable but not very savy opponents who are going to make him think about things and force him to put some combinations together. He hasn't got the discipline or the smarts to make this tourney the forgone conclusion that it should be for him.

It's far too big a risk for a "proposect" like him; why risk that marketing tool of the 0 at the chance of being outwitted by a not anymore, never was or never will be.

I think I would like to see Tyson Fury. It would help him get his name out there a bit more.

As it stands the line up is complete muck. Skelton and McBride should retire and stay retired. This would be the wrong competition for Fury, his profile is quite high already and a loss in prizefighter would be a big setback. Martin Rogan would not be ready and it would be a backward step. Sosnowski just went 10 rounds with Vitali in a word title fight, I think he is a bit beyond prizefighter. If any of the young prospects (Dallas, Price etc.) want to step up and have a go I would be delighted to see it, but I doubt their handlers will let that happen (although Richard Towers may just prove me wrong). But for excitement and star quality it has to be Mike Perez. He would light up this competition.

This is idea for a very good prospect who needs some media attention. I agree that Perez would be an awesome addition or Price.

I will take an absolute savaging if this ends up being wrong.

But I would know if it was gonna be Albert!!!

By bet is it will be Larry O who prizefighter was made for!!!

Fury told Bunce a couple of weeks ago that Prizefighter would be a step back for him as he's trying to develop into a 12 round fighter

I second Will's shout, would love to see Larry O in this, hope Hearn is reading this thread!
