Has there been a worse exaggeration than "Brook exposed Golovkin?"

I think GGG is better than Hopkins at middleweight, Bernard was a good fighter but what was his biggest win at middleweight, Delahoya?

 

...And Hagler was fortunate that Duran was a lightweight, Brook couldn't beat GGG at middleweight if they fought 10 times, same with Duran , he couldn't beat one of the greatest middleweights in they fought over and over

 

You're entitled to your opinion, but Hopkins has the better wins at MW by far. That is a ln undeniable fact.

 

Canelo is a Jr. Middleweight.

 

Golovkin isn't a massive middleweight though and Kell is a very big WW but you make a valid point. I'm an utter Hagler-**** so think the Marvellous one who demolished Minter smashes GGG but to dimissi the Kazakh as a HBO hype job as so many people do is very wide of the mark.

Roberto Duran is undeniabl a greater fighter than Hagler. So what's your point.

 

People acting like Gamboa exposed Bud was pretty bad. It was pretty clear early on Gamboa couldn't hurt him so Bud had plenty of time to be patient and time him.

Some were putting too much weight on Khan-Canelo for the same reason.

 

I ask a simple question.

If Canelo faced Brook... either at 154 or 160... does he KO him in 5 rounds?

The answer is most certainly no... and not only that... I would'nt be surprised if his boxing ability, size, etc... gives Canelo much more trouble than GGG

 

If anything, Golovkin exposed Brook for having a glass face, and body. Grade A British China that cracks when the first solid blow lands. Brook's face broke when the first solid punch to the face landed, and the first solid body shot that landed, hurt Brook badly, and left him with the facial expression of someone's toddler son that has just crapped his pants. I heard the whole ring smelled like **** after Golovkin landed that body shot on Brook in the first round.

 

Yeah. Headvetkin is innocent.

 

Lol Brook surprised a few folk that night with the manner of how he fought,such a shame he got the broken eye thing as he was doing ok but I agree with you,one bloke on you tube thought Brook won four rounds lol,I mean that's just mental as Brook was rocked in round one and in my opinion it showed Brook has a good chin as most would have crumbled off that,round two I gave Brook but only at a push as GGG was on top towards the end of that round.
Just seems a modern trend and an excuse for someone to say exposed lol.

 

Most of this stuff comes from Britts who have a history of getting over excited about mediocre performances of their fighters. GGG new early in the fight that Brook had nothing to trouble him and needed to ko him or lose face which is why he fought different to most of his fights.

 

Golovkin punch through brook. He didn't respect brook power.

 

Golovkin had zero respect for Brook's power, he fought a street fight and stopped him in five....................
