I would pay a pretty penny for a streaming service with high quality versions of classic fights. HBO Max has almost no boxing content, save for the Gatti-Ward Legendary Nights and a biopic about Tyson from 1996. It's a massive shame they are not leveraging 45 years of boxing history for this streaming platform.

Problem is, only ESPN owns enough of a library to do this. And they don’t seem to own (or believe they own) the rights to a lot of material in the collection they bought (which is why so many of them have never been seen on TV).

HBO and Showtime have enough to make their vaults a piece of their on-demand/streaming channels, but not enough that uploading it all and such would be worth it given the small number of people who would likely get that service for these classics who wouldn’t otherwise subscribe.
