I agree. Cannot see the fight doing more than 500,000 buys. then where will Pacquiao stand in negotiations with Mayweather.

I think its just a smokescreen to try and make Floyd think theres other options.

Well... i didn't see any point in a Tarver v Dawson rematch when the first fight was such a one sided mauling. But it wasn't as bad as Pac v Cotto

Pac-Cotto doesn't begin to match the insanity of a return go of Floyd Patterson against Ingo Johannson. Patterson had been ANNIHILATED -- hit the canvas like five or six times in the first round, but Floyd flattened Ingo with the most devastating shot of his career in the re-match.

Tyson vs. Bruno (not really a 'rematch' in the classic sense though)

The fight makes zero sense unless your Manny Pacquiao and team.

I'll add Foreman-Frazier to the list.

No-one is clamouring for Pac-Cotto II but it probably makes as much, or more, sense than the Pac-MAB rematch.

Rematches are for competitive fights not one sided ass whippings. Why would anyone want to see this?

Good point, and Barrera showed that he had a great strategy in the second, just got outspeeded.

#1 its pacman trying to get his 8th- 9th world title 1 millions buys there . and be the pound for pound greatest of all time. Why not more up weight and pound the same guy u did. Plus cotto has a new trainer ( one of the best in the world) and they might actually be able to stop pacman is a killer game plan. Plus the fight would be in dallas in a packed to the tits staduims. Would be huge

ummmmmmmmm/ moving up in weight,, cootos new trainer,, pack staduim in dallas.. HUGE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ fight.. every cotto wants to see him win. :happy are u dumb think about it. You probally order PBF vs Marquez, thats a waste of money i think cotto has a chance and he gave 4-5 good rounds in there first fight
