Pfft, MMA forum is yattaway. --> Those guys have glass retinas. Any pro boxer would stare a hole right through 'em.
Both Klitschko has been unbeatable at staredowns. They never failed one, not even some epic minutes long ones like Wlad-Haye. Cold blooded mother****ers. Sure staredowns ain't all, but it's kind of disehearthening to see a boxer unable to old the stare or keeping the eyes low or on the mouth or the nose. Klitschkos always delivered on that front. Never afraid
i remember Lennox had just destroyed Tyson and came in overconfident vs Vitali! I didn't expect much from Vitali had never even saw him fight before! They showed it in my country for free! So i see him stearing down Lennox and not breaking eye contact even when he walked backwards to his corner! I thought this guy dosn't know his place. And I was wrong after first 2 rounds i became Vitalis fan till his final bout! Great fight that was!
Anyone remember this? VK grabbing Sam Peter's WBC belt of him and refusing to give it back and then staring at Peter with a huge grin on his face as he tried to wrestle it off him. SP: ''Give it back! It belongs to me give it back! VK: ''It's mine. It's mine'' http://www.secondsout.com/world-boxing-news/world-boxing-news/samuel-peter-unhappy-in-germany http://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-ep...li-klitschko-l-and-samuel-peter-98822290.html
Sounds good on paper for someone who hasn't seen the fight but we all know what happened. Vitali will always be lewis's boogie man. Vitali is the reason Lewis looks under his bed every night before he goes to sleep.
You say that jokingly, but lets not forget Chisors straight up slapped Vitaly in the stare down, and Vitaly didn't do anything about it. Fury literally made Chisora his personal little ***** boy, Chisora was terrified of Fury, yet smacked around and spit all over the Klitschkos
Fedor was boss at staredowns too. This is what psychologist Joe Bell said about him: "The best when it comes to the staredown is Fedor Emelianenko. Watch him: he does not make eye contact and his entire expression is extremely relaxed - you would think he is about to sit down for dinner or something. But here is the crucial thing. When the referee tells them to head back to their corners, Fedor suddenly darts a short look directly at his opponent - or through his opponent, I should say. This kind of look is associated with antisocial behavioural disorders and psychopaths. They don't look at you, they look through you. It's emotionless, it goes deeper than skin level. You will get a lot of fighters who will catch that look and suddenly realise they don't want to be there. This is what fighter Brett Rogers said: "I've never been intimidated by anyone in my life. But when we got to the staredown, I looked into his eyes to let him know he was done -- and there was nothing there. It was like I was staring into a void. It kinda psyched me out." Hes definitely a different fighter, said Rogers of the heavyweight champion. I look into his eyes and I see nothing. I dont see if hes serious. I dont see if hes trying to be funny. I cant sense anything from him. A lot of people say, Dont pay attention to his demeanor because it will psyche you out. Its true. I feel that.
