I saw the fight up close lol Lennox put his titles on the line against his # 1 contender on 10 days notice. He was barely 80% in shape. Lennox was lethargic BUT He took over the fight & beat Vitalis face to a pulp. I dread to think what a 100% Lennox would have done to him :think:patsch

It's easy to look like a boss when you fight cab drivers for the entirety of your career.

Boxing is part mental and the stare down can take away confidence or increase nerves. Vitali had one of the best stare down ever.

Liston did too, but he was the bigger man for the most part. He'd be looking up to stare at Vitali.

I may or may not believe you or agree with you. Im certain you are telling the truth or want to at least appear to be telling the truth. I could disagree depending on what your true intentions are but I won't unless that is clear.

Staredowns can be important. I think this is a conclusion some would make, but others would disagree with.

Two of the greatest staredowns ever.

Incidentally, I always thought Vitali looked confused more than anything during his staredowns. :-(

Liston, Hearns, Duran, Tyson (few specific times). In that order....
