I'm not as familiar with Banks & Hopson but will take your word on them.

Davis went the distance with Chapo, but did go down...he did take some really mean shots, but mostly to the body...I don't know about including him...you could argue his elusiveness bailed him out of situations where a bad chin would have failed him, or you could say he was just shopworn by the time he met Buddy...

Damiani - glass jaw, maybe...feather-fisted not so much...

Toledo is the best call there by far (of the guys I know; not including Banks & Hopson).

Well i did say Davis had an average chin,he did go down quite a few times but it was hard to finish him as he was very elusive, your right he was quite past it when he fought Mcgirt.

As for Damiani looking at his record he did have a lot of kos but, when faced against world class opposition i always got the feeling he didnt have much on his punches(his record says different)

How about Buster mathis Jr really light puncher maybe average chin, slick defense though.

Damiani was strong, but of course strength isn't the same as turning over your punches with stunning power. He was strong enough to push a young Mercer off of him and back him up with some body shots...but he didn't hurt him with anything or even come close (of course almost nobody hurts Mercer). :think

    Mathis is an excellent pick.

How about a mutual opponent of Damiani and Mathis - Tyrell Biggs? He did drop Mister Snipes, for what that's worth...

I thought Biggs had a solid chin in his prime, he took alot of punishment from non other than Tyson. Also went to war with big punching Jeff sims. Most of his ko losses were when he was past it. Tyson ruined him. But even against a young Bowe he stood up to a beating the ref had to stop it.

Calvin Grove:huh:think Although once in a while he showed a little pop. Looked like a puncher in knocking out a washed up Fenech and Rocking Gatti, but outside of that he was known as a light puncher. Maybe he just didnt sit on his punches enough cause he was always on his bike.

I've read that Tyson claims he "carried" him only to lay a bigger beating on him because of all the trash talk. :think

You mean Manuel Medina who lost around 20 fights and was KO'ed in half of them? I'll give you Freddie Norwood but wasn't the KO controversial ? Either way I admit I was wrong but your examples were a little weak.

You should watch some of Medinas fights and not get all your info from boxing records. Look at his wins he has some good names on his resume and the fights that he was stopped, the guys had to lay punishment on him to stop him. I think your right it his ko over Norwood was controversial but he did hurt him on numerous occasions also had kelly wobbling all over before getting kod himself.
