Has there ever been a fight as big as PBF vs. Pac that wasn't made?

With as much as the sporting public in general is demanding this fight and the HUGE amount of dollars which will be spread around, I see this fight somehow getting made. But it makes me think, "What was the biggest fight that never happenned?" Both before and after PPV was introduced as boxing's cash cow.

I was pretty disappointed that Hopkins Jones 2 didn't happen in 02, I don't think it was quite as big as this one though.

Bowe vs. Lewis would have been a good one. A big American heavy with a shot to bring the belt back home.

I think Pac-Mayweather is the biggest fight ever.

This is the only one in terms of popularity that even mildly compares to the Money and Pac Man fight...and in 90/91 it was all Tyson driven. These two here are both international superstars.

RJJ-Hopkins Rematch, I dont consider their recent fight the same fight everybody wanted. Not as big in terms of popularity perhaps but in terms of 2 fighters being as established as they were, pretty close.

So, this would have to be the biggest letdown in the history of the sport if it doesn't get made, right?
