Has there ever been a fight where you felt worried for one fighter's health before it even started?

when foreman came back, i didntfigure in his earlier atg attributes.

You have to remember too that it was the only time we seen someone in the flesh with a 40something frame in top flghtboxing.

sure there have been some 40somethings around since but hardly at the top, ortizfaced a 2nd tier boxer in wilder, vitali fought a 3rd tier one in charr etc.

Plenty. Most recent example I can think of would be Khan vs. Terence Crawford. I knew TC was really gonna wipe Khan down, but I was most worried that Bud wasn't trying for a stoppage win and that it felt best to him to whoop his opponents ass for all 12 rounds.

No. Any version of Haye would have lost.

Are you really unaware to the extent of Haye's serious career ending injuries going back to at least 2013?

Came here just to say Khan vs Canelo... it was a KO waiting to happen, only doubt was how bad it would be.

Many people were worried about Holyfield going into his first fight with Tyson. Tyson opened as a 25-1 favorite but by fight time the odds were 6-1 in Tyson's favor. I wasn't worried though, I actually picked Holyfield by 4th round KO. I know that sounds crazy but I really felt that he would rise to the occasion (despite not looking great in his last 3 out of 4 fights), knock Tyson out, then retire. It didn't happen that way but I did pick the winner.

I worried about Lenzie Morgan late in his career. He lost most of the time but late in his career it really looked like he didn't belong in the ring. He finished 14-33-3 (7), he was only stopped 7 times but I often felt he was going to get stopped in many of his losses. He was a lanky MW with little power but 10 years into his career he was fighting at HW. He was more durable than he looked. He was stopped by A. Maynard, O. Klemetsen, K. McBride, B. Seldon, E. Castillo, and N. Wodo. At his best he was able to go the distance and sometimes be competitive with some of the best SMWs of the day.

I give Mayweather absolutely no credit for that win. Gatti was shot.

Gatti had actually picked up a paper belt and was on an OK win streak. He was the nr 1 contender at 140 at the time, if I am not mistaken.
Gatti definitely wasn't shot. He could still fight his heart out.

    Oh hell yes.
    Deontay Wilder v Audley Harrison.
Yes, that's right. One of the most devastating one punch KO artists in heavyweight history (in his prime ) against a glass jawed guy with no fighting heart coming off multiple and brutal KO defeats.
Seriously, what could possibly have gone wrong?
