He he, ho ha, ha ho - um no. :deal

I've seen numerous posts A FEW YEARS ago claiming how Wlad would have dethroned Lewis no problem and how both Klitschko's rank higher than some all time greats including Ali.

I don't see the same comparisons being made about Haye.....:think

"Our David" has done his fair share of talking in the ring as well. ;)

    :rofl:patsch

Tyson has actually beaten someone and unified all the belts at heavyweight.

Haye has had 2 heavyweight fights against no hopers and he is being touted by some as the savior of the Heavyweight Division.

Haye has done nothing at heavyweight to show he even deserves the fight much less that he is going to win.

I hope you figure it out because it's alarming to even think that he's close to the most hyped fighter ever. As others have mentioned, Wladimir had an outrageous amount of hype before he was knocked out by Sanders and I'm not even sure who can come close to Michael Grant.

Your 'glass jaw' threads are moronic enough and now this?

His hype is normal, the division is lacking big names and when one comes around a lot of attention is only normal/logical. All this hype is helping sell out their next fight.

What's wrong with saying he has the fastest hands?

His hands were fasters than all his opponents at cruiser, so I don't think it's stupid to suggest that his hands are gonna be faster than all the guys at HW, none of them are fast really.

Haye is hyped on message boards and in the UK. Germany as well maybe.

No one outside of hardcore boxing fans know who the hell he is.. and for a good reason. He hasn't really beaten anyone of note.

Mormeck was already TKO'd by Bell before Haye had him, and was coming off a disgraceful win over Bell in the rematch.

Haye also didn't have a strong reign at CW, he left before things even BEGAN to settle. People make too much out of unified belt holders, especially considering that Haye only had COUNT THEM 2.. Yes 2 title fights.

    That's hardly cleaning out ****.

Lacy was never as hyped as people want to think he was, he wasn't close to crossing over yet to the mainstream.

The only fighters to get any mainstream style press as of late are RJJ, PBF, Oscar, Mosley and Pacman (but only a bit).

    No one else.

I bet you 1 out of 100 Americans have no clue who Haye is... it could be even higher than that.

He's just hyped to **** by internet fanboys.

I have to agree with you, for a fighter to be hyped causal fans have to know who you are and not just hardcore fans.
