Has there ever been a fighter ranked as high as Crawford with such a poor resume?

Serious? The way people have talked about him over the years, you would think that he had a resume like Canelo, Floyd, Pac, Ward...etc

    Errol Spence Jr

Although I’m a Golovkin fan, he was ranked highly P4P I believe before he fought Brook, when he didn’t really have any major wins against any top quality fighter.

I disagree just based off names he beat Mikey Danny Ugas Porter and Brook. Diversions of Porter and Brooke that spends fought our level above diversion of Brooke and Spence that Crawford fought

I'm a big Crawford fan but you ask a fair question. I believe Bud is considered great from an eye test point of view. However, his resume and level of opposition haven't given us a real chance to find out if what we believe about Crawford is true. We know Spence can beat very good fighters but this is a step up for him as well.

This is part of what makes this fight so intriguing.

To be fair, the fighters Spence fought when he fought the, beat the fighters Crawford has fought.

Agreed, Spence definitely has the better resume.

Probably Jermaine Taylor at one point, but Taylor was never rated number 1 p4p on any respectable list. Im sure there's others, but Crawford is a rare case imo. And I've always been critical of Crawford's standing as p4p #1 when he hasn't fought an elite fighter yet.

Ticks the murican and demographic boxes needed for US sportswriters, who all have exactly the same politics and agendas.
