Has there ever been a HW title fight contested between two southpaws?

    I can't for the life of me remember any HW title fights consisting of two southpaw fighters. So has there?

    Moorer's the only southpaw to hold the title (unless you count Sander's WBO title) and he never defended against another southpaw from memory.

    They were actually scheduled to fight in january of 2008, but Chagaev pulled out with an injury and Sultan fought Wlad instead.

    So they did.
    I forgot about Chageav but I have to admit to never seeing Ibragimov fight before and wasn't even aware he was a southpaw.
