I actually give Roy the edge in those two categories.

No RJJ was a freak athlete in the ring his reflexes were the best I've seen from any athlete period and could land at will in his prime.:deal

Corrie Sanders could have surpassed Roy in athletic ability if he had put the hard work in the gym like RJJ did

the guy basically didn't train and was only a part time boxer. the fact that he was still so explosive and fast means he was more naturally gifted than Roy

Law of diminishing returns. The more you train the harder it is to improve.

You train that extra 5 hours a day for that last 5% of a boost.

You have to be ****ing kidding me? #48 couldn't carry RJJ's jockstrap in terms of athletic ability hell PBF was faster than him a better athlete and had better reflexes and he's lightyears behind RJJ in terms of athletic ability.:deal

I didn't deny any of this. I said Roy has more handspeed and better reflexes.

I said Pacquiao has more power, more stamina, more toughness and more footspeed in the ring.

Again, never denied that Roy has more speed and better reflexes.

#48 has slower feet than PBF yet you think he had faster feet than a prime RJJ? Stamina is another funny thing I can tell right now that you're new to boxing and never saw a prime RJJ. I won't even go into power either.

Roy had more power than Manny. And honestly, I don't remember ever seeing RJJ tired during his prime. So not sure where the stamina argument comes in.

No way in hell does Pacquiao have more power than Jones.

P4P, Jones was a harder puncher. He had genuine one punch KO power at 160 and 168. He knocked out guys who went the distance with Toney and Julian Jackson.

Thing is though, RJJ actually had faster hand speed and waaaay more steez plus he was the bigger man! Prime Pacquiao has peers in terms of his weight-class and athleticism, with Roy....not so much.

I can think of numerous middleweight with more power than Jones.

Can't think of many with more power than Pacman below 130.

And stamina, I've not seen many fighters throw bombs for 12 rounds like Pacman.
