In Roy Jones' biggest fights he was unable to finish Hopkins, Toney or Tarver. Yes he did school both Hopkins and Toney and outclassed them.

So he's a true ATG fighter, but in his biggest fights he could not stop the opponent which speaks to his power.

Pacquiao was able to stop his biggest foes. He stopped Sasakul, Ledwaba, Barrera and Cotto. He wasn't able to stop Marquez or Morales (when he was good) or anybody over 147, but at that point it came to size difference.

If Jones' power was so great why couldn't he finish his toughest opponents?

I'm not saying he didn't beat Hopkins and Toney. On the contrary, he whipped their asses.

All I'm saying was he couldn't stop elite fighters.

Who has stopped Hopkins and Toney in there close to 60 years as professionals?

Even at there advance age by boxing standard who has come close to stopping both.

Why am I even arguing with you, you're a complete moron.

Yea and who stopped prime Barrera and not the green one? Nobody did.

Who stopped Cotto without bricks? Nobody did.

Who stopped Ledwaba? That's right not one F'ing dude ever did except Pacquiao.

Who stopped Sasakul? That's right not one F'ing dude ever did except Pacquiao. Well besides the time he was stopped at 38 years old.

So I guess what you're saying is Pacquiao was stopping guys who had been shown to have bad chins????

Roy's fights against Hopkins and Toney were technical fights. They were physical games of chess. He never tried knocking them out. Against Tarver he was absolutely exhausted.

But he proved he had genuine one punch knockout power. He took out Hill and Griffin with single shots and they weighed in the 180's. He could certainly hit. But he had issues with his hands throughout his career and he was content to cruise to decisions unless a knockout opportunity presented itself. Apart from the Griffin rematch, he never went out determined to get a knockout.
